In this scientific analysis, it is determined that San Francisco is a Beta World City, along with Sydney, Toronto, and Zurich, and with nine points just one point shy of Alpha World City status.

Now, let's see, Seattle...Seattle...Seattle...ah, here it is. Two points, right there with Ho Chi Minh City, Riyadh, and Bucharest. And it's easy on the eyes too, in its own way:
Word is that Seattle may soon break its record for consecutive days of rain.
I guess we can all be very proud.

You betchya. Rains in Seattle constantly, rain, rain rain. Britany Spears came to vist once and declared it "Horrid". We don't even have sex here. And there are bears.
To quote the criteria:
"Note that this roster is weighted toward financial criteria and generally denotes cities in which there are offices of certain multinational companies providing financial and consulting services rather than other cultural, political and economic centres."
Meaning: We have more rich people.
