It's been notoriously not very good since 1962.
Bad food for common people is a useful, if not infallible, metric for assessing the level of repression in a society.

The thing is, food for common people is better in Seattle than almost anywhere, except maybe San Francisco.
Fortunately, no one from here commonly goes to the Space Needle to eat.
