It just came back from the shop after having a general checkup and some minor repairs. Anne found this in a thrift store.
Cleaned up and with all the lights working, she's a beauty. This is definitely the receiver of my high school wet dreams, only now I can appreciate it even more.
I have one regret, however: at this point in life, I am no longer so unconcerned about my neighbors to get any real use out of the 185 watts per channel. (The guy at Pyramid Audio said he was fairly sure that this was either the first- or second-most powerful receiver ever made.) Although I could buy some electrostatic speakers....

Not to be trifled with.

I'll make do, somehow.
By the way, the hand cart is there because it must weigh close to 70 pounds. Hence the name.
Can I just nestle up to it and take a little nap. I won't hurt it. I just want to bond with it.
