I had to simplify it for the masses. The actual motor skills, material selectivity, and set of decision trees (conscious, subconscious, and sensory) involved are far too complex to describe in any conventional graphics.
This makes me think several things: 1) human consciousness is not being replaced by robots anytime soon. 2)Technical complexity is often a means to simplify the overwhelming complexities of simple technology, and 3) It's amazing anyone ever gets on an airplane.
