Dave Krieg's Strike Beard: Seahawks 14, Packers 12
Hand-wringing and Pearl-clutching because we didn't win "the right way" is for losers like John Kerry and Al Gore, not fans of a rising NFL power built on ferocity and vicious brutality.

Rome led his show with it again today.
Pete Carroll handled this beautifully - obviously, he said, since the League Office has ruled on this, it is settled and the Seahawks won. No apologies or appeals to Steeler memories necessary.
That's really the best path: it was the ruling on the field, the ruling in the replay booth, and the ruling at the League Office. Really there is no problem.
The real problem, of course, is that the officiating has been very poor all year, and this is when the world collectively shouted "enough!"
I wonder if the NFL will really be stupid enough to wreck this successful product. They're having a serious go at it.
Yes the reffing has been poor and slow. However, how poor and slow has it been really? Will the fans suddenly find fast-paced, mistake-free officiating when the pro referees return? My impression is that the ref debacle has simply become the hat on which we can hang all of our football frustrations. Imagine if Green Bay had lost without an officiating controversy.
I want the players to determine the outcome of the game, not the officials. But, given the choice, I'd rather have the officials (even the scabs) determine the outcome of the game rather than John Gruden.
