Ichiro, whose Hall of Fame prospects we declared good in 2009 is now a lead-pipe cinch, which is particularly impressive given that he started nine years late because of a prior commitment in Japan.  He is also threatening, at the age of 44, to set the Major League pinch hit record this year.
