The biggest is still the Russian attack on election systems- and noting Alaska was part of that.
Here's aging in the poprock era: I remember a big local Seattle Gang of Four revival of interest- about ten years ago. Still a huge influence on local bands- but so is Big Band jazz, world pop, hip hop and somewhere Macklemore is mackling more. Frankly, Marxist econ-punk could not be a better soundtrack to Amazon's hyrdra-headed grotesques here in town, with an explosion of homelessness and also fine dining options.
And while I'm riding this dead horse, did you know Amazon is so angry at almost but not quite being taxed that they are picking up and well not leaving, but building more now... in Bellevue. Meanwhile, this was a real sentence, Amazon was complaining that Microsoft was only supporting an affordable housing tax "to make us look bad."
There's a lot of fine dining options in Bellevue.
