My only problem with Firefox is that I haven't figured out how to get the equivalent of the Google toolbar (just the Google search field). I'll have to investigate...
I have such a tool. But I forgot how I put it there. (I think through Google directly, if not, search mozdev.org.)
It's an extension, if I'm not mistaken. Tools, Extensions, Get extensions. Something called "Googlebar" is always in the "most popular" list that is on the first page.
