There are at least a dozen hats in this painting - and at least two, count 'em, breasts (if you haven't painted a breast or two I can only give the activity my highest recommendation)- but if you mean the beaver hat on the gentleman to the left, consider that this was the hat that opened the West (to the understandable dismay of its previous inhabitants) a distinctly American contribution to the world. And so was the principle of liberty, brotherhood and equality, which knows no national borders. You can make a fair argument that the French revolution was Ben Franklin rousing in Paris as much as Rousseau.

And so the revolutionary fire- Bush's goons are seeking to erode, abrade and diminish our national reason to be: liberty, brotherhood and equality. That the French copped the slogan is merely the highest honor of plagarism.

So put on your beaver hat and follow the girl.
