Allow us to consider the list of wonderful events that will result from invading Iran:

There are no good outcomes of invading Iran, and precious few if any from airstrkes. A far larger, mountainous, and more religious nation, Iran is sort of more or less a parlimentary government, with huge problems, psychotic misogyny, but a pretty reasonable face of legitimacy. There is zero chance of pulling this off with any legitimacy, and already we've blown all our political capital on WMDs. There won't be allies, an exit strategy, or even a pretense of "liberation." What in their profoundly delusional thinking makes them thinking attacking the country will induce an anti-government uprising? Who's running our foreign policy - Frank Booth in "Blue Velvet?"
It would require a draft. Iraq would fall apart as we moved east, and we will have to become extremely brutal to try to control it.
No worries. They'll welcome us as liberators. "Democracy, Wiskey, Sexy, Beheady"!
