I liked Jon Stewart's comment on the media through this - when he was a bartender, there used to be an alcoholic fat guy who sat at the bar night after night, saying almost nothing, just being drunk and sitting there.
One night they told him that some guys were fucking with his car, and the guy leapt up, ran outside at incredible speed and beat the crap out of them with a tire iron.
This, he said, is like the media over Katrina. That guy can still move.
