Brawl Puts Seahawk in Hospital, Leads to Murder?
Defensive back Hamlin is the hospital in serious condition having been hit in the head with a signpost in a bar brawl in Pioneer Square. Meanwhile, the guy that knocked him down is found dead.

Shit. That's really bad news.
Damn, this is rummy. Hamlin was one of my favorites on the team. He hit like a motherfucker. What a fucking waste.
Updates are coming at the seattlepi.com; Hamlin has already retained defense counsel. Seattle police are investigating a link to the murder.
Hamlin is now conscious.
The dead guy was shot multiple times, had a conviction for manslaughter, and had left a halfway house that evening.
