I'm going to disagree with the Laird on this one.
Yes, most terrorists are Middle Eastern. But if we only profile Middle Easterners it leaves a gaping security hole you could drive a truck filled with Asian Muslim Fanatics through.
Or a truck full of Anglo girlfriends of Middle Eastern terrorists.
I'm sure a decent mathematician could come up with a formula for the optimum amount of profiling vs. random searches.
But could the DHS?
Far better to keep it random.
