Joining the cause
My first post -- and a hearty welcome to all. Sadly the blogosphere has confused me and left me unable to do even the most simple things like remember my user name and such. Hope to post from time to time to keep your ilk in line. All hail Tim!

I bid the Counselor welcome and good writing.
Many of us have known The Counselor for many years, for his legendary Toyota Corolla which crossed America in less than four days, for his long, hard fighting for something called a "Democratic" party in Alaska, for his growing success in folk music, and for the fact, if memory serves, that Walter Mondale's brother taught him to play the saxophone.
Greatly do we anticipate the Counselor's contributions, and extend our warnings to his foes, for they are also ours. Many have sworn him secret allegiances in the dark nights and forgotten strands, where the forces of light, after all, are ultimately forged.

Speaking of which, when are we going to take down the picture of Anchorage from the top of this blog?

Hey!! Great to have you one board.
I speak of Anchorage with "all deliberate affection" by suggesting that the burned grounds and tower of Orthanc would be a considerable improvement.
