Dr. X posts this from Al Davis's office:
"1) Matt Hasselbeck met with President Bush last week and declared him an 'Honorary Seahawk'.
"2) In an unrelated development, Matt Hasselbeck has been cut from the Semi-Seahawks, and the team has been renamed Occam's Razors.
"Go All-Blacks!"

Yes, this has been a bit of a kerfuffle up here. Now Hasselback, conservative family and religious fruitcake, ok, but Mack Strong? WTF? But the gut kicker was giving the neo-fascist chimp a number 43 jersey. Somehow, that just sucked.
I don't exactly begrudge them, but how would Dallas feel if Romo signed up for a set of ads for PETA targeting barbecues? (get it?) That's about how I feel about this incident. This is Seattle- Bush was , as ever, too chickenshit to actually appear in public in the city. Seahawks fans are generally looking for an escape from the chimpocracy.
X brings up a good point. I think each of you should search your own souls and waive any players you find lacking in moral/ethical character. I say, look no further than your own house!
