Controversial I know, but I'm all for it. I LIKED Pay N Save. Green and Blue is Seattle, Blue is more or less anywhere that isn't beige. And I have a master's degree about color and stuff.
You know how much I hate their current uniforms. When you see your team's colors, you should have an emotional reaction. But nobody can have an emotional reaction to anything as desaturated as the new "Seahawks blue." Also: apart from the green, there is no contrast. The light blue and the dark blue look the same as soon as the light blue gets wet. Awful. Tragic.
It's true- football teams aren't supposed to blend in. Emotional is right, and these same colors have also created the most rabid soccer fan base in America with the Seattle Sounders FC. And I mean Seattle Soccer-hooligan rabid.
I would have bought a Sounders jersey, if they didn't say "Xbox 360" on them.
