That's pretty hard, since most of the images are roads in the middle of nowhere.

I got several exact matches with clues and searching.
Last night I got one where if you zoomed in on the sign in the parking lot it said "Alyeska". That one I can take to the hoop!
Even nowhere is somewhere. American roads have distinct markings. I'm having trouble distinguishing Australia from South Africa however, and Brazil from Portugal.
I thought I'd hit gold when I saw some old masonry and a cyrillic-lettered souvenir stand overlooking a huge body of water. Lake Baikal? Nope, Rumania.
Think I'll call in sick for a couple of days...
So is doing Google searches fair game? Or just driving around the map?

With Googlin', I got a score of 23195.
This is a fun one. See if you can beat 28,792.

Cool. How did you figure out where you were next to the ruins?
That was the hardest:
Wandered around the city until I found a reasonably unique looking art gallery.
Art galleries always have a web site, and from there I narrowed it down.
I have to say the fun of this game is far more about that period where you don't know where you are than the narrowing down to the exactness of the answer.
Still, nice to know that if you were dropped anywhere in the world, you could quickly find out where you were (provided they have cell coverage)
