Just a math comment - in describing the drop among veterans, this poll is describing 16% or so of the sample size of about a 1000; meaning only about 160 vets were contacted- common problem with polls. The short trend is probably right - but take with a large grain of salt.
Small N. Good catch. I'm surprised--and impressed--that CBS published the detail to make it.
