One thing I find particularly appalling about fundamentalists is their insistence that they subscribe to a "literal" interpretation of the bible -- unless, of course, we're talking about the aformentioned "eye of the needle", "love they neighbor", "thou shalt not kill", etc. Then they get all nuanced (and full of bullshit).
