Zogby reasonably asks America whether should we impeach Bush for lying about real war? With the issue not in public discussion, Zogby's poll got an impressively strong yes from 42%, no at 50%, maybe at 8%. Meanwhile, Bush's speech gets him bupkiss in moving his own numbers.

With the Admistration essentially moving steadily to effectively criminalize dissent, and with a Court opening, these numbers are a critical brake on his power.

Even kings need popularity to act.
