It is in the nature of weather that, having missed the direst of histrionic forecasts earlier, I noticed that it was raining, and then it was a bit windy, and then I went shopping.
I tried to tell him, I did, but he just wanted to shop.
In Olympia, My mom's power cut out just before midnight and was still out as of this morning. She said it might not be back for days, depending upon the number of trees downed on area lines.
Near Shelton, a tree smashed through the house occupied by the family of another relative. Fortunately, no one was sleeping in the dining room at the time, and the house is a rental.
