Chess Mastery With Marcel Duchamp

Grandpappy Contemporary Artist Marcel Duchamp and Eve Babbit, 1963. A gambit that would I think easily defeat Kasparov.

Duchamp could really play, although his greatest achievements were in the field of analysis, particularly in the Lasker-Reichhelm position (no, really!).

It's a little hard to tell from this angle, but I think he's trying the Four Pawns' Attack against Alekhine's Defense here, probably not a good strategy against someone this hot.

As the Ladies get more involved, it is becoming more common for them to distract opponents by showing some skin, a tactic now known as The Koshnitsky Gambit.
