A happy little book
Illustrated by Sendak, this edgy little book of nursery rhymes is excellent. The current favorite around our house:
Tom tied a kettle to the tail of a cat;
Jill put a stone in the blind man's hat;
Bob threw his grandmother down the stairs -
And they all grew up ugly and nobody cares!

Now, let the wild rumpus begin!
When I worked at the bookstore I saw a great one called A Great Big Ugly Man Came Up and Tied His Horse to Me". I bought a copy on my employee discount for when I had kids I could read it to.
20 years later...I was ready...!
