For the second time in five years, I had to debunk somebody's claim that "The U.S. never paid for Alaska, so it technically belongs to Russia." The first time was a Russian co-worker of mine who got all of his news from pro-Putin sites. Last night, it was a member of the Alaska Independence Party. This image came in handy both times.
