It was uneven, but it definitely had its moments. The premise seemed to be, "Star Trek was just a Western set in space, so why not have a Western set in space?"
My sister has the DVDs. For what it's worth, I intend to borrow them and watch them when my daughter isn't around. It can be a bit gritty.
I saw the first episode, and thought that it was very mediocre (standard TV-quality mediocre acting + mediocre writing).
