Bush Extends Olive Branch to California

By withdrawing the deductibility of state taxes. "Let me put it like this: It certainly isn't something that's a discouragement," said one prominent conservative. "Yes, we talked about this. The fact that it hits blue states is not something that's been missed among Republicans."

It's times like when I recall our brilliant plan to market our neo-socialist reeducation camps as incredibly expensive team-building profit-maximizing retreat seminars, located on a remote lake with fine food, hunting and golf. But by the time our sexy leftist "Mistress Domina Fifth International Crew" has them turned on to pot, chanting Noam Chomsky, and begging to lick their stillettos, the GOP will be doomed, and paying millions for the privilege.
