Highly Recommended

Buster Keaton's last great film, The Camerman (1928), now out on DVD from TCM. This was his first film for MGM, and therefore the beginning of the end, but is still a great effort. It has two brilliant scenes, one a solo pantomine in an empty Yankee Stadium, the other an incredible Chinatown gang war (Keaton plays a newsreel cameraman trying to get it on film). You can actually see most of the Tong War scene at the TCM website.

Here's how good he was - half the time there's a monkey in the scene...and you can't take your eyes off Keaton.

The Cameraman is good, but it's Harold Lloyd (College) that rocks the racoon coat.
