Don't Bother Me, I'm Worrying

Dr. X posts this using Spam Mimic:

"Today's news roundup -
"Well this cheered me up: Tony Snow says polls would have shown WWII to be unpopular with Americans around the time of the Battle of the Bulge. The estimable Mr. Marshall begs to differ, using those nasty liberal tools - facts."

The WWII poll is very enlightening.

One can argue about the Iraq war, but it was morally offensive in Vietnam, it is morally offensive now, to claim equivalent moral authority to WWII, and to clothe oneself in the righteousness earned by others in a desperate global fight for survival against ideological kleptocratic genocide on six dozen fronts.. Snow is, no surprise, yet another despicable, disposable tool, willing to say anything at all.

Would Bush be willing now, to, I don't know bump up the top tax rate to 91%, like we did after the war, to win this one? The fact that we're answering OF COURSE NOT tells a lot about the nature of this war.

But has the Times considered whether robots might need sex?
